A man found lying on Eglinton Avenue East with serious injuries near Markham Road early this morning was hurt after falling from the back of a Toronto Transit Commission bus, police now say.
According to police, between 1:30 a.m. and 1:45 a.m., the 32-year-old man was spotted attached to the back of the bus. The activity was shared on social media.
At some point, the man fell from the bus. A passerby found him in the street at around 1:45 a.m.
He was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the bus was unaware of what had happened, police said.
