Three people were taken to hospital after a stabbing outside a fraternity house in the Annex early Saturday morning.

It happened near Bedford Road and Lowther Avenue at around 2:20 a.m.

According to police, a caller reported seeing 10 to 15 people fighting in the street, many of them armed with bottles or knives.

Paramedics say one male patient was stabbed and was taken to a trauma centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries while the two other patients sufffered slashing injuries and were taken to a local hospital in non-life threatening condition.

A large party was taking place at the fraternity house at the time of the stabbing, police say.

No arrests have been made and no suspect descriptions have been released.
