A male pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Queen Street and Spadina Avenue early Friday.
A spokesperson from Toronto Paramedic Services said the person had been taken to a trauma centre in serious condition.
The age of the person who was struck was not immediately known.
Police shut down the intersection shortly before 3 a.m. due to the collision, but reopened it about an hour later.
Police did not say what caused the collision.
