Peel police have arrested two teenagers in connection with the murder of a 36-year-old Mississauga man earlier this month.

William Marcel Maassen was found without vital signs behind the Woodchester Plaza on Dundas Street near Winston Churchill Boulevard on the afternoon of Aug. 7.

At the time, police refused to disclose a cause of death but did say that Maassen regularly visited with friends and acquaintances on the footpath that ran from the rear of the plaza to Thorn Lodge Drive.

Sem Golov, 19, and a 15-year-old young person that cannot be identified under the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act were both arrested on Friday and charged with second-degree murder.

Police are continuing to appeal for information about the homicide.
