Toronto police have identified the 49-year-old man killed in the city’s latest homicide, and the two suspects facing murder charges in connection with his death.

Officers were called to an apartment on Arbordell Road, near Kipling Avenue and Westhumber Boulevard, where they found the body of the victim shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.

In a release issued Thursday afternoon, police identified the victim as Kamanlall Singh, of Toronto.

The release also identifies two suspects charged in connection with the incident.

Eustache Economou, 39, and 50-year-old Margaret Gonsalves, both of Toronto, are charged with second-degree murder in connection with Singh’s death.

Both have appeared in court.

Police previously said the victim suffered blunt force trauma. An autopsy is scheduled to confirm the cause of death.
