Toronto police have charged a 33-year-old man after his father was stabbed at a home in the Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue area Saturday evening.
Police were called to the home around 6 p.m. Saturday after a family dispute.
According to police, the 60-year-old victim was stabbed before the suspect turned the weapon on himself.
Both men were taken to hospital after the stabbing.
In a news release Monday, police said one of the men is now facing charges.
Faraz Razaghi, 33, of Toronto has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of weapons dangerous.
Both men remain in hospital where they continue to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
