A man sought in connection with a fatal shooting in Brampton Sunday night has turned himself in to police.

Officers were called to an apartment building at 85 Charolais Blvd. in the Steeles Avenue West and Main Street South area Sunday night for reports of gunfire.

When paramedics arrived, they found a man, later identified as 21-year-old Mohan Dori, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to hospital but later died from his injuries.

Che'don Jackson, 22, of Brampton, surrendered to Peel police at around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

He is facing a charge of second-degree murder and will appear in court in Brampton for a bail hearing Thursday.
