The westbound lanes of Highway 401 were closed in Oxford County this morning after a truck carrying cinnamon buns caught fire near Drumbo.
A tractor-trailer caught fire on the highway just before Drumbo Road at around 10 a.m. and police say the driver was able to pull over to the side of the road, get out of the truck and get to safety.
Speaking to police at the scene, CTV Kitchener confirmed that the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction and no one was injured.
Two westbound lanes of the highway remain closed.
