Police have charged a 27-year-old woman after a dog was thrown to its death during a dispute at a residence in Scarborough’s Malvern neighbourhood last month.
Toronto police said that over the weekend two people got into a dispute at an apartment building located at 5600 Sheppard Avenue East, east of Markham Road.
During the confrontation, police allege one person threw the other person’s dog off of a balcony. The dog died of its injuries.
The woman has been charged with one count of endangering or injuring other animals.
