TORONTO -- Masai Ujiri plans to use the coming weeks to evaluate his players and head coach Dwane Casey.

The Toronto Raptors general manager met with the media two days after his team was humiliated in a four-game opening-round sweep by the Washington Wizards.

Ujiri said the situation isn't "doomsday," and listed off the positives this season: a second straight Atlantic Division title, a franchise-record 49 wins, an NBA Sixth Man of the Year in Lou Williams and a great fan base.

When asked if he regrets his comments about Wizards veteran Paul Pierce, Ujiri said he will always back up his squad.

But he doesn't plan to swear in public anymore after being fined for the second consecutive season by the NBA.

Ujiri was fined US$35,000 and the Raptors an additional US$25,000 after he uttered an expletive about Pierce when addressing the fans in Maple Leaf Square.
