DNA testing has confirmed that Parminder Singh Saini was the identity of the body found on the site of the Sunrise Propane explosion.

Saini, 25, was working at the North York propane site on the morning of the Aug. 10 blast.

A body was found in the rubble on August 11, but until now investigators were not able to identify it as Saini's, although it was widely speculated to be his, as he went missing after the blast.

His identity was confirmed today through DNA testing conducted by the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto.
