A 20-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal two-vehicle collision in North York last fall.
The crash happened in the area of Don Mills Road and Havenbrook Boulevard shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 6.
A 68-year-old man was driving northbound in a Ford Edge on Don Mills, attempting to turn westbound on Havenbrook Boulevard as a 20-year-old man in a black BMW headed south. The two vehicles collided, police said, and the 68-year-old was sent to the hospital, where he died.
On Jan. 22, police charged Richmond Hill resident Ahmad Rashidi with dangerous operation of conveyance causing death. The charge has not been tested in court.
