BRAMPTON, Ont. - The trial of the last three people accused in the Toronto 18 terror plot is set to get underway Monday in a Brampton, Ont., courtroom.

Fahim Ahmad, Asad Ansari and Steven Chand are all charged with participating in a terrorist group.

Ahmad is also charged with instructing people to carry out activities for a terrorist group and a weapons offence.

Chand also faces a charge of committing fraud over $5,000 for the benefit of a terrorist group.

Ahmad, Ansari and Chand were among 18 people arrested in June 2006 and charged with various terrorism offences.

Since that time seven people had their charges dropped or stayed, two people were convicted after trials and six people pleaded guilty.
