A Richmond Hill man is in hospital with serious injuries after a rollover in Markham early Wednesday morning.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on the ramp from Highway 407 to Bayview Avenue at about 4 a.m., sending the 30-year-old male driver of a Honda Civic to hospital in critical condition, OPP said.
Police believe alcohol and speed were factors.
Officers are also looking into whether the condition of the customized car was a factor. The car had spots of primer on its body and mismatched tires.
Investigators are planning to do a full mechanical inspection.
OPP are asking anyone who witnessed the rollover or saw the car before the crash to call investigators at 905-841-5777.
