Police say one of two brothers wanted in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Etobicoke earlier this month is now in custody.

Curtis Murray was arrested without incident at an address in Mississauga at around 5 a.m. and transported to 23 division for processing.

The arrest comes less than one day after police held a new conference to announce that Corey and Curtis Murray were both wanted for first-degree murder in the death of Trevor Seraphine.

Seraphine was gunned down in a parking lot on Willowridge Road on March 21 while walking from one friend’s home to another.

In the news conference held Monday, police said that Seraphine was a recent immigrant from Saint Lucia and had no connection whatsoever to the suspects.

“There’s no link. Trevor is a 17-year-old boy. He’s a little kid,” Det. Tam Bui said

Police are continuing to search for Corey Murray.
