Investigators say they are searching for a suspect after several gunshots were fired at the front of a home in Ajax on Monday night.
Durham Regional Police say they were called to a home on Carnelly Crescent for a report of an armed person.
Several 911 callers reported hearing a number of gunshots go off.
No one was hurt in the encounter.
Police arrived at the scene and discovered bullets had damaged the front of the home that was fired upon.
No suspect description was released.
