A man in his 40s is in police custody in connection with death of another man in his 40s, Toronto police have confirmed.

Police were called to a house on Bonnechere Crescent, in the Brimley Road and Eglinton Avenue area, shortly before 1 p.m. where they located a man with obvious signs of trauma.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has yet to be confirmed, police said.

A man who lives at the house was taken into police custody in connection with the death.

“The identity of the male in custody will be released once charges have been laid,” Toronto police Det. Dave Dickinson told CP24 Thursday night.

No additional suspects are being sought in connection with the investigation, Dickson said.
