Male in hospital following shooting
UPDATE: One male has been transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries following a shooting Tuesday evening.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was shot on Osler Street, in the Davenport Road and Old Weston Road area, at around 6 p.m.
Grass fire closes part of Hwy. 404
Firefighters were on the scene of a grass fire that closed a portion of Highway 404 Tuesday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police closed the highway between Mulock Drive and Aurora Side Road as crews battled the blaze.
The highway was reopened at around 4 p.m., OPP said via Twitter.
