The Conservatives, NDP and Liberals remain locked in a tight three-way race, the latest poll numbers show.

Into the seventh week of the election campaign, less than three percentage points separate the three main parties.

Numbers released by Nanos Research Wednesday show that the NDP sit at 31.6 per cent support among decided voters, followed by the Liberals at 30.1 per cent and the Conservatives with 29 per cent. The Green Party has 5.9 per cent support according to the poll.

The poll also shows that more people have made up their minds. Some 9.7 per cent of respondents said they were undecided, compared with 16.7 per cent who were undecided about a month ago.

The Nanos poll is based on a rolling sample of 1,200 voters interviewed by telephone across Canada from Sept. 13 to Sept. 15. It has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
