It's the end of the road for the bike traffic on Jarvis Street.

Ontario's Ministry of the Environment has rejected an appeal by Cycle Toronto to stop the removal of the lanes on Jarvis.

At a cost of about $272,000, Jarvis will revert to five car lanes after the city finishes building separated cycling lanes on Sherbourne Street.

That project should be completed around November.
