One person has been taken to hospital after a home invasion in Stoney Creek overnight.
It happened at a residence on First Street North at around 12:15 a.m.
Police would not say what weapons were used or what items, if any, were taken.
Officers did confirm that one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the incident but the nature of their injuries is not clear at this time.
Police could not confirm the number of suspects involved in the home invasion.
The investigation is ongoing, officers say.
