Reporter/Weather Specialist

Nalini Sharma gets Toronto out the door each weekday morning on CP24 Breakfast with her unique "out-the-door forecast". Sharma has been a reporter/weather specialist with CP24 – Toronto's Breaking News since 2008.

CTV's 299 Queen Street West, Toronto has been her home away from home for a decade. She started telling Toronto the weather story at City-TV's Breakfast Television and then became the station's weekend weather anchor and special events reporter.

Sharma started her television career as a news writer at /A\ News London/Windsor based out of London, Ontario. She moved back home to Toronto where she worked at Broadcast News, Canada Newswire, and Millennium Media Television.

On top of her duties on-air with CP24, Sharma is dedicated to various charities and causes by hosting galas and media events. She is a big supporter of the Princess Margret Hospital Foundation and will co-lead a walking team in The Weekend To End Women's Cancers in 2010. She also looks forward to supporting PRIDE and Caribana parades in the city of Toronto as a media host.

Nalini is a graduate of Ryerson's Radio and Television Arts program and has recently obtained a diploma in culinary arts. Sharma's passions are reading, spending time with her family, cooking and coming up with her own recipes.
